Yes, I know he was a day "late." But I was very surprised he came before the weekend. I wouldn't have been at all surprised if he was a week late -- or more!
For now, here are a few pictures. I plan on posting the birth story later for those who want to hear it. If you don't, I won't be offended if you skip that post :)
Until then, I hope you'll be satisfied with these. There are lots. I'm not posting a lot of them here -- the rest can be found on facebook. I'm also posting a few here that haven't made it to facebook yet.
The last belly picture. This was taken on my due date, just a few hours before I was surprised by the beginning of labor.

The first time I got to hold him, for about 10 seconds before they took him to the NICU to help him start breathing better.
In the NICU. Husband got to follow him there, but for some reason wasn't able to hold him.
Husband finally got to hold Jeric for the first time after they brought him down from the NICU. Poor Daddy had to wait almost 4 hours!

Just finished eating and trying to burp. This is right before he peed out the top of his diaper and we had to change him into his third outfit for the day...and it was only 10am.

Kathryn, he is PRECIOUS!!! Congratulations!!! Hope you're enjoying every minute of motherhood. Those first few weeks home with a newborn are my favorite. :) Wish I could drop by and give him a little snuggle. I have no doubt that you will make a great mom. Little Joshua is lucky to come to such a wonderful family.

Is Granny Huff crying in that first picture? Everyone looks thrilled to hold him...can't wait till its my turn. Hopefully it will happen before he is walking!
Congrats again cousin! I said "aww" on pretty much every picture. Joe and I laughed at the one with Steven playing Madden. You're little family is adorable and I want to hear all about the birth story!! :D
We are so happy and excited for you guys! Joshua is perfect! You make a sweet family. Rest when you can so you will bounce back. Hugs and kisses to all.

Kathryn, you are truly blessed with a wonderful family! Congratulations for the new addition of Joshua Heath! I would also like to point out that you are no longer "Just Us" but instead something even better with Joshua in the mix - Personal opinion - perhaps its time to consider a new blog name to welcome the new arrival? I always love reading what you all are up to and can't wait to hear the birth story!
